Hello and welcome back to Babe We Need to Talk. I'm Alex, your host, and I'm so excited you are here today. Um, I'm gonna be honest, I don't have a good plan for this podcast, but I was like, you know, this is the only day, this is the only day that I have time to record, and I don't want to miss a week because for me, if I am being consistent with something, I'm so much more likely to do it. And if I'm being disciplined with it, I'm so much more likely to do it. So we're gonna let the Holy Spirit completely lead this podcast today, and we'll just kind of see what happens. I also wanted to say thank you for trudging through the Deep Roots Good Fruit one with me. Okay, I was re-listening to that episode so I could clip some things for social media because you know, content and all that. And I was like so cringing at myself because I was so redundant. And it honestly is just because I had recorded it already or thought I had recorded it already, it didn't record, and so I was trying to like remember everything I said and got a little bit tripped up. So I appreciate you staying, like sticking with me through it, and that's also why that one came with like a little bit of a longer devotional. If you get the emails from Substack with each podcast, that one did come with like a little bit more, and there were some things that I wanted to add in there, so maybe we'll talk about that today too. But hi, how is everybody? It has been I can't believe we're in July. Like, how crazy is that? My kids go back to school in August. I feel like summer is flying by, it's been super fun. Um, and things are starting to like really ramp up with the timeline of the book, and it is a little bit overwhelming, but in the best of ways. Um, so yeah, anyways, what's new with you guys? Tell me, crickets, crickets, because you can't talk to me, but that's okay. Leave comments. You know what, guys, you know what I was thinking about. This is so random, but I really miss when Instagram comment threads were like an actual conversation instead of like every time, even if like I see somebody's post and I want to comment a thought and be like, oh my gosh, yes, and like have a conversation. Like all the other comments are just whatever word that person told them to say and then sending to your inbox, to your DMs. And it kind of drives me crazy. I feel like so much, like the reason that I have babe we need to talk on Instagram, why I have the podcast, why I have all of it is to like connect with like-minded women and to be able to have like I want to build a community of women who support each other. Like iron sharpens iron, like that's what this whole thing was uh like stemmed from. And so I'd never want it to be just like bots talking to each other or like, you know, I just miss the I miss the communication part of social media, like the social part of social media. It doesn't seem very social. Everything seems so like one-sided these days, and it just makes me so sad because that's not how we're supposed to live together, you know, like we're supposed to be in community. The Bible tells us to be together, and that a, you know, three strands are better than one. And I don't know, guys. Y'all feel the same way or y'all just like entertain me, you know? Not to me, but like to the to the algorithm, like entertain me, which can we talk about the algorithm too? Because I was thinking about it, and it's like, I swear sometimes if we think or like search or like interact with like one negative thing, then all it does is feed us like that negative thing over and over again. And everyone's like, Yeah, your algorithm knows you, knows you too well, knows you too well. And it got me thinking, like the picture that played in my mind almost immediately was how like our algorithm and social media can almost be like like the devil can be in it if we allow it. And like just like our algorithm, like the devil is always watching us, like watching our every move, and like as soon as he sees a weakness, he wants to exploit that weakness. And rude, by the way, but we have to be so diligent and recognizing it and like recognizing our weaknesses. And I love in oh, which which one is it in 2 Corinthians chapter 12? Like he asks Jesus to take this thorn from his side over and over again. We don't know what that thorn was, and Jesus replies, My grace is all you need, my power works best in weakness. So now I am glad to boast about my weakness so that the power of Christ can work through me. And while Satan Satan wants to like find our weaknesses, just like the algorithm does, and like feed us that negativity and like keep us addicted to staying online, where when we recognize those weaknesses and let Christ work through those weaknesses, like the devil has no stronghold there. So I think it's so important that we recognize those things, not just with the algorithm, but like with Satan. And I feel like when we are about to uh experience like some spiritual breakthrough, sort of that Satan works even harder to kind of exploit those weaknesses and like find them and just like hammer away at them until we give in or give up. And that's why it's so important in those times, just like we talked about in the book of James, like we uh consider all of our trials to be joy because it means that we are being built up and we're being taken to like the next level. And like there's such good things that God has for us, but we so often shy away from it because either we don't want the spiritual warfare that comes with it, or we don't want the negativity, but I don't know. Anyway, bringing it back to I just feel like just like the algorithm, Satan's always watching. I feel like it's such a good reminder to be diligent and aware and on guard. Like the the the Bible also tells us that the devil is prowling around like a lion waiting for somebody to devour, and he's gonna devour us when we're not paying attention and he's gonna devour us when we're isolated. And those are two things that like we can't let ourselves do, we can't let our friends do. Um, I don't know, that was a random tangent, but like I said, I'm just gonna, we're just gonna go with it for the podcast today because part of what I wanted to talk about was to tie in some things from the Deep Roots Good Fruit podcast and like say some things that um I meant to say in it that I totally did when it wasn't recording. And then also just to like chat about things because I'm gonna be super honest right now. Like today, my flesh did not want to show up. Like I did not, I don't want to record. I am in a mood where I feel unworthy, less they are not good at what I'm doing. And I can tell that the devil is watching me react to those sort of feelings and emotions and is pressing in even harder on those specific things. And so today's a day that I have to just like literally pull up my bootstraps and get over it and fight my flesh. And part of me, I was, you know, almost playing like devil's advocate in my head of like, well, maybe you just need rest. And it got, it made me go to God and ask him, like, God, what is the difference between fighting my flesh and knowing when my body needs to rest? Because I feel like sometimes there's that balance of like the world wants to tell us, like, you can't porn to others unless you porn to yourself first and you need to rest and you need self-care. But sometimes self-care is just being in the presence of Jesus and doing what God told you to do. We can't be passive in our walk with Jesus. We can't be passive in the things that God is asking us to do, commanding us to do. Like I know that God has told me to do this step in my walk with Big We need to talk and in my walk with Him. And if I'm disobeying it, like I'm not going to be producing fruit. I'm going to be stagnant. And I do need rest, but my rest comes from God. And so what I mean by fighting my flesh today is I didn't want to turn on the microphone. It didn't want to talk. I'm like, I don't even know what I'm going to talk about. My brain feels flustered. I have a million other things that I need to be doing, like, not just with the book, but with the book and with my house and with my kids. And I feel neglectful. And like all of these things that would bother me, like I feel like I'm being neglectful to my kids when it's just like, but the truth is, it's an hour that mom's gonna be locked in her room and y'all can survive and dad's home. And I just feel like we're always so hard on ourselves too. And that we do need to learn like what's fighting the flesh, and we need to learn what is when God's commanding us to rest. And I think that part of that is we're gonna learn that as we're in our word, we're gonna learn that when we're talking to God and when we're having a like solid and fulfilling prayer life. And what I mean by that is just talking to God and not neglecting to come to God, because even if we think like, oh, I don't really have anything to say today, God still wants you to spend time with him daily. And when we're doing that, we're building up our knowledge and recognition of his voice and our knowledge and recognition of his word, and then we can discern so much better, like how to fight our flesh, when to fight our flesh, which is always, but and when we actually need rest. So I don't know. I don't know if any of that even makes sense. But if I'm speaking to you, give me like a little clap emoji or something in the comments because, like I said, I don't really know what we're gonna talk about today. So I did want to talk a little bit about uh fighting the flesh, and I also want to talk a little bit about um like kind of building off of last week's episode of Deep Roots Good Fruit and how once we once we figure out how to kind of have good soil in our life and allow our roots to go deep and wide, like what do we do next? Do we just kind of wait passively or do we build off of everything that God is doing? And I also wanted to talk to the girl who is looking at her life and wanting so much change and maybe not even knowing where to start. And I want to encourage you that a little bit of growth every day is going to lead to like big, beautiful, bountiful life that gives so much fruit. And to get there, we have to fight our flesh. It's a lot of fighting our flesh, and it gets easier and easier as we do it. Like reconstructing those beliefs of do what makes you happy. And if it doesn't feel right, it isn't right, kind of thing, is work. It takes work. It is so hard. And I mentioned before how, like a year ago, well, now a little over a year ago, like I wasn't in my Bible every day. I wasn't spending time with God every day. My prayers to him were very like bitter and angry, which if that's you right now, I do want to say that's okay. Like I would rather, and God would rather you be giving him bitter and angry prayers than not praying at all. So keep going because you're you're gonna get there. I pinky promise you. But like I was saying a year ago, I wasn't in my Bible and I wasn't I wasn't doing anything to like build my life where God wanted it to be, right? And I also mentioned how like it was a suddenly thing that I was in my Bible every day, but like the buildup to that took a while. And then there was even there was buildup in starting this account. There was buildup in a podcast. Obviously, there's buildup in a book, like you don't just write a book in a day, and there's all these building blocks to everything, and like maybe you're looking at your life right now and you're thinking, like, I don't know what I could do differently to get where I want to be today. And I like the biggest thing that I tell myself all the time is one thing at a time, one day at a time. Like, if you are striving to live a more godly life or live a life of light and kind of like leave the darkness behind, it's going to take time and it's gonna take practice, and just like planting seeds and having all this fruit, like it takes time. And God meets you through all of it, but sanctification is an ongoing process. And we actually learned in James that we have to humble ourselves before the Lord so that He can exalt us, and it just shows that there's a process of building up, and there's a process of planting seeds, and there's a process of having growth and fruit, just like anything, anything in life, right? You're not gonna just like start something and be amazing at it. You have to have the courage to start start something and not be great at it. You have to have the courage to open your Bible and maybe not understand everything it's saying, but have the desire to want to learn what it is saying and what God wants for you. If you are the person that's like looking and wanting change in your life, like, oh, I wish I could read my Bible, my Bible every day. Maybe it's not even like maybe you are reading your Bible every day and you're wishing that you could work in like stewarding your body well and working out, or you're wishing, okay, I wish like I am reading my Bible, but I'm doing it after the kids are up and it's chaotic, it's and it's a mess and it's really difficult. Like making one small change a day is gonna lead to so much fruit later on. We don't have to like completely till the land and plant everything and water it all and get results in the same day. That's just not how that's not how life works. It's not how God built us, it's not how he built the world. And I think so often we see things on social media or our algorithm is feeding us something that says that we need results fast. Like everyone wants results fast these days. We want the pill that's gonna change everything quickly. We want hair growth overnight. We want overnight oats, which I don't eat. I think that sounds so gross, but if you do, I'll more power to you. But we want fast things. We live like we can, I can go get a taco right now super, super quickly. And that's gonna be easier for me than making them. You know, like we live in a world that everyone wants quick and fast results. And when you're not getting quick and fast results, you quit that thing and you move on to the next thing that will give you those quick and fast results. Like if you've come to a realization that you're not living how God wants you to live, and you want to change that and you want to steward your life the way that he calls you to, and you want to step into your purpose for him, you can do that, and God can make an instant change in your heart, but it's going to be a process to eliminate the things of your life that aren't of God and replace them with things that do glorify God and help you be a light throughout the world. And we're gonna actually read from Romans 12. This is a, I think this is a pretty commonly like talked about verse, but I just think it goes with what we're talking about today. And on this Bible, we read or on this Bible, huh? On this podcast, we read the word of God, even when we don't know what we're talking about subject-wise. Okay, so if you have your Bibles, open them up. We're gonna be reading from Romans 12 today, and we're not gonna be doing a ton of reading, but we are gonna be reading. I'll read it to you. I'm gonna be reading from my new Bible. It's pretty. See how pretty it matches my outfit today, you guys. Oh my goodness. We're vibing. Okay, anyways, we're gonna be reading from Romans chapter 12. We're reading from NLT. And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice, the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Like basically, everything I'm saying can be summed up into those two verses. When we're living for the world, we're gonna look like the world. And whenever we decide not to live like the world anymore, and we decide to let God transform our body and our mind, there's gonna be pushback. Like, it's just like when you do start working out and your muscles start to hurt and you don't want to go back the next day, but every day you go back, you get stronger and stronger and stronger. It's the same way with walking with Christ, same feeling where it might hurt a little bit, and then you'll feel better and stronger. And like it shows here again that it's a process. Like we talked about in James, it's a process to humble yourself before God and then he will exalt you. This is also a process. It's telling us, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. To let God change the way you think, you have to be in his word, right? You have to be surrounding yourself with like-minded people. You have to attend church if you're not already doing that. Attend church if you're not in a small group, attend a small group. All of these things, when you start surrounding yourself with people who love God and know God, like they may not know everything in here, but they're gonna be willing to figure it out with you. And you being in your Bible, like I said earlier, like you may not understand exactly what you're reading, but when we ask God for that desire, just like we kind of talked about that in the James recapped episode too, right? When we go to God and we ask for wisdom according to his will, he will give it to us. If you want to start by opening up your Bible to the gospels or Psalms or Proverbs or oh, any of them. Oh my gosh, there's so many good books in the Bible, and reading the Bible can be so fun. But before you start, you ask God, God, whatever I'm about to read today, would you give me clarity? Would you give me revelation? Would you help me to understand your word and apply it to my life? And he will. And what's so funny is when we do pray those prayers, he answers them in a way that like we don't expect it. You'll read something in the Bible, and then later on that day, that type of situation will come up where you get to use that wisdom that God taught you and you get to apply it in a real world situation and be a light that that person may not have otherwise had, or that situation might not have otherwise had. But because you were in your Bible and you asked God for clarity and he decided he says yes because that's what God does. He says yes when we ask in alignment with his word. Like that's gonna help build you up and help you build your life around God. And he's, and then you're going to get to learn his will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. And then also in Romans 12, we go down a little bit. He's Paul here is talking about how we are many parts of the body and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for certain things as well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. And if it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Don't just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong, hold tightly to what is good, love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. I'm gonna stop right here. Okay, so you know how I told you that I was kind of fighting my flesh and showing up today. And it was it was like a work. Like I was sitting, I was standing actually, I was standing and folding laundry, and I was like, God, do you even want me to film a podcast today? Because if I don't know what I'm want to talk about, is it worth getting on there and just blabbering? Like, God, you're gonna have to take over. Do I need rest? Like, I just went into this whole conversation with God, and it's just part of it was I wanted to be a little bit lazy. I wanted to just sit down and work on my manuscript, which I get is not lazy, but to have to show up and be honest and real and vulnerable and with you, because that's the whole reason that I would do this. Like I never want to show up and not be who God made me to be. I think that this never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically comes into play with fighting your flesh or wondering if you actually need rest. Because God does command us to rest. Absolutely, He does. I mean, if God rested on the seventh day creating the earth, why would you think that you don't need to? Friend, you need it. And I think that I think, especially among women, there's this narrative that, like, if we're not constantly producing and doing something for our family, that we're not stewarding our life well, or we're not grateful, or if we rest, that means we're weak. And at least for me, I I have I battle that a lot. And it's just so inaccurate and it is so what the devil wants you to think. And it goes right back to Romans 12, too, that we need to be transformed by the renewal of our mind in Christ instead of what the world tells us to do and what the world tells us is acceptable or enough or worthy. And we don't get our acceptance and our worthiness from the world and from external things. We get it from God. It comes from Him. Anyways, moving on. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope, be patient in trouble and keep on praying. We've had a lot of that talk about being patient recently, haven't we? When God's people are in need, be ready to help them, always be eager to practice hospitality. And we could read this whole book. I love Romans so much. It's full of such wisdom. But when we're learning what God's will is for us and what is good and pleasing and perfect, He's going to teach us what part of the body we get to play. And we, if we all were playing the same part of the body, we would not be functioning really well now, would we? And so when we're looking around at how everybody else is functioning and how they're growing their fruit, we are missing the complete point of who God wants us to be. Is as we are deconstructing what the world has told us we are and who to be and where our worth comes from, as we're deconstructing it, we're replacing it with what God says about us. So be in your word. Learn what he says, learn what he wants. You can learn who he is. And just remember that you don't have to change everything all at once. You have to humble yourself before God, seek after him, and he's going to give you step by step what to do. You just have to be listening, which also means that you have to be quiet. And I am a big advocate for that. And a big I like to remind us of that. I'm somebody that can talk, talk, talk every which way to Sunday. And God's like, be quiet, listen to me. And sometimes he's like, hey, girl, I already told you. I already gave you an answer. But as you're following like each small step that God is giving you, like, say you are somebody who's you're reading your Bible, but you know, your kids are up and they're running around, like, ask God for the desire to wake up earlier. Set your alarm 15 minutes earlier, and then the next week 15 minutes earlier, and then the next week. Make small attainable goals to replace the worldly and secular habits with more Christ-like habits. Like it's not to make you more righteous, it's not to be legalistic, it's to remind you sanctification is an ongoing process. Like every single day we wake up and we want to be more like Christ. We won't get it right every single day. But the desire to change things in your life and strip of the worldly things and put on the armor of God is so worth it, even if it takes time. And so while a year ago I wasn't even reading my Bible, I also wasn't working out. I also wasn't eating right, I also wasn't drinking enough water. I also wasn't praying enough or correctly. I also wasn't decipling. I also wasn't producing fruit. Like I can tell you that 365 days later, I am. And it wasn't all at once. It was being in my Bible and praying, and then slowly planting seeds and then listening and obeying each thing God told me to do. And then now I'm getting up early and working out and stewarding my body well because I wasn't stewarding my body well before. Now I'm stewarding my body well. I'm drinking more water, I'm praying more, I'm slower to speak and quicker to listen. And all of these things didn't happen, like it didn't change in a month. It took almost a complete year to really change my habits and find a place of routine that I feel like I am stewarding my life better than I was a year ago. Perfect? No. Better? Yes. And that's the goal, you know? And I also want to say with like these things that take time, like deep roots and good fruit, and bearing these, this like, you know, fruit in its season, is you're gonna have seasons that are more fruitful than others, and that's just how it is. And a lot of that time, it's because God's doing a work in you before you can really share that fruit with everybody else. Like, we you don't want to share the fruit too soon, if that makes sense. As a new believer or an on fire again believer, you may be so anxious to like share it because I that's absolutely how I felt. Before I started running away from God, I was so passionate about sharing the gospel. I was passionate about making like online videos and I wanted to build up an online community because I just wanted more women to know Christ. I wanted them to understand the freedom that I found in it because I've lived quite a life where like the first half of my life I didn't really know Jesus very well. And then I did find him, and then I ran away from him because of external things. And so, anyways, before, like that's what I wanted to do. And so when I came back and I was just like had this on fire, like God kind of had to like tame it a little bit before I could do what I needed to do. And then there's even some days where you know I felt like God was like, okay, it's time to do this step now. Like start, babe, we need to talk Instagram. Okay, did it check, make a video. You guys, that first video, I was like shaking. I was so nervous. I did not want to do it. Sometimes we can look at somebody and be like, who does she think she is? Like starting a podcast. You guys, I don't think I'm anybody. And that's a big part of like why I didn't want to and why God was like, you're gonna do it, whether you like it or not. And I do have so much fun doing it. Like, I don't want that to come off as like I'm ungrateful because I'm so grateful that I get to do this. I'm so grateful God called me, called me to do it. I'm so grateful that he like answers me every time I ask him something, even if sometimes his answer is wait. But my point is, like sometimes you have to do something you don't want to do to get you where God wants you to be. And he is there every single step of the way. But I do want to say to the girl who's listening on the other side right now, that if you are feeling like God is calling you to do something, but you're scared to do it and your flesh wants to do something else, I really encourage you to press in and pray and ask some friends to pray also and see what God says and really listen to him. And to listen to him, you have to be in his word. And then I also want to say to the girl who is looking at her life overwhelmed and not knowing what to change or where to start the change, just start. Pick one thing, like one thing at a time, one day at a time, and change it. One thing at a time, one day at a time. If it's you want to start reading your Bible, one day at a time, one thing at a time, pick a book of the Bible and start doing it. If it's that you want to get up earlier, set the alarm, 15 minutes earlier, we can make all of these small changes that lead to such big results. And actually, Paul even talked about in Philippians, we're gonna flip over to Philippians. So if you have your Bibles, flip it over, but if not, you know, I'm gonna read it to you. And we're gonna read from chapter three, verse 12. And he's telling them to, like right before this, he's telling them to safeguard their faith, that um, to turn away from things of the world, and that, you know, he was once living one way and now he's living another. Okay, so and then verse 12 he says, I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection, but I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing, forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Okay, I love that he reminds us of this here because we can we look at Paul as such a hero in the faith, and he is saying, Hey, you need to do all of these things, but I'm not perfect either. And we are pressing on every single day. Like you messed up yesterday, that's fine. Don't look back, keep going forward. Don't look back at your old life, don't look back at what the world has told you to do, or what the world has said to you that deems you worthy, or what the world has defined you as, or what Satan has defined you as. Look ahead at what God has for you. Obey him every single day, and you're going to reach the end of your race and reach that perfection in Christ Jesus at the end. Keep going. And I think it's hard sometimes when we're not seeing the fruit or we are kind of overwhelmed with all of the changes that we have to make in our lives or with the things around us. And like for me, okay, like for example, I'm somebody who does not like clutter. I don't like clutter. I don't know where I'm going with this, but I don't like clutter. I don't like it. Look around, it overwhelms me. And I think some of us can feel that way with our life. Like we just have too much noise in it. And we have to block out some of it and strip it down to be able to build it back up. And sometimes that's what God is doing with our life. Like we've talked before about how like sometimes God will strip everything out of your life so that he can build it back up. And we can talk about pruning and how that ties into being fruitful and how that ties into like deep seeds, or what is it? What was my thing? That how that ties into deep roots, good fruit, and how God will prune us. And he does. And it's just like the doctor sometimes has to break a bone further to mend it correctly. Like sometimes you'll have to take out all of the clutter and all of the noise so that God can restructure everything the way that He intended to do in the first place. And let me tell you, because I learned this the hard way, that if you keep trying to fix it all yourself and you keep trying to declutter it yourself, you're not letting God in on it, you're probably not doing it right. And you're gonna spend all of this time and energy building something that you were never meant to build in the first place. And God is going to end up tearing all of it down so that He can rebuild everything correctly and everything in a sanctifying way. He is going to completely humble you so that he can exalt you. And it's not going to feel good at first. Now, don't let that, don't let that take you away from what God wants you to do. Don't, don't let that turn you away from God and run back into the pit. Let that encourage you that you don't have to do it all yourself. You cannot do it all yourself, and he's going to equip you with every step of the way. And it might look something like, you know, he's he wants you to build something really big, but he's only going to give you the first 10 things to build it. It's kind of like when you get those Lego sets, and I could just, this is fresh in my mind because my kid was just building with his Lego sets. They come in all these bags, okay? And you're about to build this big thing, but you have to read these instructions and you have to listen to what, you know, the God of the Legos is telling you to do. And you build this part and then you build this part, and then you build over here, and then you get to put it all together into this big, beautiful thing. And like the only difference is like with Legos. The only difference is with Legos, you have the box with the picture of what you're building. Sometimes God doesn't give you the full picture. Sometimes He'll give you a glimpse at it because it's whatever that, whatever that desire is in your heart that you think sounds so crazy, but you know you have this burning passion for it, that that is what God is calling you to do. Like that might even be the smaller picture of where God is actually calling you. Does that make sense? I feel like we're all over the place today, but that's okay. Am I making any sense, you guys? I don't know. I feel like there's got to be somebody out there that needed to hear some of these things. So let's just like recap a little bit. Fight your flesh. Rest when you need to, listen to God, make small changes every day. Don't let the world tell you who you are and don't let Satan have a stronghold on you. And don't let the algorithm or Satan watch you and exploit your weaknesses. Okay, friend? Guard your heart. Like guard your heart, guard your mind. That is what God wants you to do. And sometimes it's just really hard. Show up when you don't want to. And I don't mean that in a way of push yourself and say yes to things that you should be saying no to. I mean show up and be fully who God wants you to be every single day of your life. And on the days that you feel like you can't show up, press into him and tell him, God, I can't do this today. I need you to do it with me. And maybe he'll tell you, child rest, or maybe he'll tell you, let's go do this. Be a warrior for Christ. Okay. I don't know. I don't know your situation. I don't know your life. But God, I pray for the girl on the other end of this mic. God, I pray for the girls who are struggling who don't know you yet, don't fully know who you are. They're looking for their purpose in all of the wrong places, Lord. They're looking for their worth and productivity. They're looking for love from people that cannot love them the way you can. They are looking for they're looking for accolades and awards where it doesn't matter. Lord, be with the girl on the other side today. Be with her as she faces whatever she faces today. Lord, you might be tearing everything down to build it up. Lord, or you might be watering what she has done. God, give her the faith and the strength to get through not just today, but tomorrow, this week, and this year. Lord, shine your face upon her and do not let her turn from you. We love you, Lord. Amen. Okay, didn't know we were gonna pray today, but there it is. Um, anyways, thank you for being here today for this very chaotic episode. I hope you enjoyed it. I hope you got something from it.
